1974 Ford Gran Torino "Starsky & Hutch" tribute. frame on restoration, 75-80%complete. What ive done, 351 Windsor rebuilt block bored .030 over,speed pro hypereutectic pistons,crank ground .010 over, all new bearings. Edelbrock Performer cam. Competition cams Roller Rocker Arms. Stock heads full valve job new seats and guides. Summit Racing double Roller Timming set,Mallory Magnetic breakerless distributor,"SS" model. Edelbrock Performer intake and Carb. Accel Super Stock Coil. mallory ballast resistor, Everything on the engine was new when car was assy in 2007 which includes Water pump, Alt,Starter,Power Steering Pump,Steering Gear Box,Motorcraft Battery, Motorcraft upper and lower radiator hose, new Radiator,All new suspension components,control arm bushings,tie rod ends,center link,pitman arm,idler arm,shocks,in the rear new fuel tank,billet lower control arms with polyurethene bushings, rear uppers are stock with polyurethene bushings added, monroe air shocks,brakes where replaced everything rotors,calipers,hoses,wheel cylinders,shoes hardware kits.the car was completely disassembled the radiator support, inner front fenders,sway bars, front control arms were all powder coated,New rear quarter panels from TABCO were installed, they are made from original Ford Dyes and fit perfect and were "NOT CHEAP" perfect example is the factory rear wheel well mouldings fitment was perfect. wheel well mouldings were not cheap either or easy to attain, fronts are N,O,S $$$$ rear are used but in really good shape with just a few dings.New Dash Pad,"not a cheap cover" Seats are 69 Mach1 seats they where not cheap either.New carpet,Super Tach is new,Not hooked up,"came un done" All work was done in the Fall of 2006 Spring 2007. Ive taken her to a few car shows here and there, i usually tke it to the Route 66 Mother Road festival in Springfield IL. It has sat alot and needs cleaned and refreshened up. I/E repaint the engine, some touch ups on exterior paint. The car has the original FMX transmission i converted it from column to floor shift, none of the floor shifts have the correct linkage for the FMX, I fabbed one up and the car shifts Park,Reverse Drive and low2,the linkage isnt long enough to Get low 1. i was going to put in an AOD with 4.10s in the rear but never got that far. you could put a c-4 or a c-6 in it for less $$. IT does have a Carson Commander Siren P/A and a red magnetic roof light which is always popular at car shows. With a little Time an money this car could easliyl be worth 20-25k. I just dont have the time or money to finish it, Note there is some clear coat flaking on the top as seen in pics.Also i have new interior door panels and weatherstrip that goes with the car, It will also need a headliner. buyer is responsible for all shipping, i wouldnt be affraid to drive her anywhere. Car will not leave my possesion until my bank confirms funds are SECURED.
