Injury forces sale of my Ford project. This 55 Ford is very complete. I have the seats out and the hood off right now. The 270 V-8 in the car has no compression so I have a good, used 292 V-8 to drop into it. The car has almost no deep rust, just surface rust so it should restore very nicely. I have all the stock engine parts, as well as extra distributors, 4 barrel intake manifold and 4 barrel carb. This is a very restorable project. I was going to get it running, clear coat it and leave it pretty much stock as is. I have injured my shoulder and can no longer work on it, so in order to give everyone around here a bit more space I have decided to sell it. The tires are good, all the glass with the exception of the driver's door is good. It appears to me as though the original engine was overheated. It may be possible to get it running with only a valve job, but the oil seals have probably been damaged too, so I bought a complete, running 292 engine for it.
