1966 Ford Galaxie 500XL 2-door Hardtop Fastback
Currently, a project/parts car that has been fully disassembled and was being restored. The frame has been completed cleaned down to bare metal and then painted black, for protection against future rust. New parts have been added to vehicle during rebuild such as: new brake components for front and rear drum brakes (shoes, springs, etc.), new brake lines, new gas line, new 3-row aluminum radiator (in Champion box), new tires and wheels, new exhaust system, all new suspension parts (all bushings, heavy duty shocks for front and back, spring insulators, body-to-frame mounts, etc.).
The original engine is a 390 XL, that has been fully disassembled and cleaned (now just a core block, ready for rebuild), and the original transmission was pulled from vehicle and replaced with a C6 transmission core block (needs rebuild as well).
All mouldings are still with vehicle and in great condition for age. Interior has been completely pulled out for body restore, and have carpet (Dark Green) and upholstery to replace old interior (Wimbledon White/Dark Green). No dash pad, since beyond repair. All other interior and exterior parts not listed are with vehicle. Electrical wiring will need replacement, since this was a full restoration all old wiring was to be replaced.
