For sale is my 1987 Ford F150 XL - 9' long bed single cab 2WD. Rock solid reliable daily driver condition, this is a year-round, get-in-and-go truck. Always starts, always runs right, and always passes inspection on the first shot. Very useful, sensible hauler with a soft tonneau cover. The truck was repainted years ago, still very presentable. Some rust bubbles and a couple holes I will point out. Still perfectly solid. Trucks of this design are known for rusting, but this one is definitely one of the better ones you will find. Left rear quarter is a little bent behind the wheel like it had a little fender bender. Straight 6 engine, 300/4.9, supposed to be rebuilt 81K miles ago. Originally was a V8 truck. The transmission is an automatic with overdrive. With the six and the OD this truck gets very decent fuel mileage for a full-size truck. Paint and engine work were all done before I had this truck. This truck is 30 years old but it doesn't show it. Not perfect but it doesn't need anything. Tires are fresh, alternator upgraded, and I've done a couple other things to keep it working nice, that I can show you. Come and look at it, test drive it, make your offer.
