Description:
1966 Ford Mustang
1966 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2 in very nice driver condition!Body 63A Color 5 Trim D6 Date 03L DSO 24 Axle 6 Trans 6
Very original condition, but obviously has been restored a couple times since 66. Originally a red/black car so it's correct there too.
Starts right up every time and drives reliably.
289 and Auto 4 speed (professionally rebuilt a couple years ago) 650 double pumper Holley carb and 4bbl intake.
Factory AC car (everything is there and looks great except the AC belt). Blower fans are still usable (just no ac without belt) HAS NOT been converted to r134.

I am the third owner. I bought it from the second owner that owned it for 36 years. Has always been garaged during last two owners (I cannot speak for the first owner, don't know him)
Painted recently (with $3500 receipt)
new brakes (hoses, wheel cylinders, hardware, E-brake hardware, etc), tune up parts (battery, plugs, points, condenser, rotor, cap, thermostat, coolant, oil, trans fluid, filter, etc).
Interior is very original and looks excellent. carpet is good shape and recently re-dyed, front and rear seats in great shape for age. This is not one of the ones full of plastic reproduction interior parts. The kick panels are not factory obviously because they are for speakers
Michelin tires
All lights work, horn, wipers, etc etc etc.
Has the modern functioning but factory looking radio unit installed and speakers on floor kick panels.
Body is in excellent shape, but not perfect. Paint is beautiful, but not perfect (couple very small bubbles on driver side and cracking just aft of the air vents in the usual spot).
Drives wonderfully. Shifts fine, brakes fine (original, not converted to discs), steers fine.
Original floorboards (passenger rear floorboard has a plate welded over it from underneath car to protect original floor that started rusting. Rest of floor has been treated and is doing very good ESPECIALLY for the age. The original red under spray is even all over the underside of the car to further prove the originality of the car.
Windshield has crack, rest of glass is excellent.
Body/paint has very minimal issues for a driver car.
VIN and Door Tag Decoder: Because car has been repainted 2 or 3 times, the stamped VIN on fender is quite hard to see at this point, but you can see the star and the last two digits and they are 53 which are the last two digits on VIN.
