This a "turn key" and "drive anywhere" THUNDERBIRD that is numbers matching and well documented. This is truly one of the most reliable vehicles in my collection. Starts with ease and never smokes or drinks. She glides down the road at 65+ without any issues. Some consider the 1966 BIRD "the last of the real THUNDERBIRDS". The only reason I am selling is because I have ran out of room for all my toys, o its time to find a new caretaker for the BIRD.

KNOWN VEHICLE HISTORY

• BORN - May 6, 966 in Wixom, ichigan (documented by dealer original invoice)
• SOLD - July 23, 966 by Vanpool Burton Motor Co. in Wheeler, exas to Ben Riley of OKC, K (documented by original warranty card plate)
• 1982 - 2011 Owned by two different T-Bird collectors in Oklahoma. (documented by Oklahoma DMV docs and owner repair receipts)
• 2011 - 2014 Purchased by collector out Pappallion, ebraska who sold to medue to health concerns
• 2014 became part of my collection here in TEXAS, he state where she was originally sold 60 years ago

VEHICLE HIGHLIGHTS

• ALL gauges work properly; including the unique Thunderbird speedometer
• Sequential tail lights and fender mounted directional signals work perfectly
• FACTORY installed AM/FM radio works great
• ALL body panels are marked with original factorystamping and have not been touched since 1966. No repaints on record
• Drive train has been untouched and is in its original condition
• A/C compressor was converted to R132 by 2nd owner and is date stamped 2002 (receipts included)
• A/C will freeze you out and heater will make you toasty
• Both Interior and Exteriorchrome is in excellent condition
• NO RUST or bubbling paint. Great patina
• Swing away steering wheel works perfectly
• NO CRACKS IN DASH - very common issue in Birds
• Trunk has original upholstery but interior carpet was replaced with correct color and pattern from California Custom Carpets
• Numerous receipts dating back into the 80's and 90's

MECHANICAL HIGHLIGHTS

• Equipped with factory power steering and power front disc brakes
• New (not rebuilt) Edlebrock Model 1403 carburetor installed (receipt included)
• New coil and transistorized ignition installed (receipt included)
• 2 new mufflers and resonators (receipt included)
• 4 new whitewall tires mounted with less than 3000 miles tread wear

Based upon overall condition, believe 57219 miles to be the correct mileage according to several documents from prior owner and Oklahoma DMV records but I cannot guarantee mileage. Numerous pieces of vehicle documentation come with purchase of this "BIRD", ncluding original invoice, arranty card, nd repro window sticker.
