1970 Dodge D400 Flatbed/PTO Truck Pre-Smog- Possible Restoration or Ranch Truck

1970 Dodge Other Pickups Flat Bed/ Tilt/ PTO

I own a towing company in Northern California. We were contracted to clear a property of the vehicles left behind. This truck was used by the land owner to move/dump materials. It hadn't been run for a couple years and he just wanted it gone. It has the slant 6 with manual transmission. The dump flat bed works off the PTO which he said runs off the transmission. We briefly tried getting it started but the engine probably needs to be gone through to figure why it will not engage. it turns over with spark but no start. As far as the body, it is remarkably straight (not perfect by any means) for its age. The paint is faded in some spots but it has minimal rust. The windshield and rear window seem to be original and it good condition. the windows work (manual crank). The interior is in fair condition but definitely needs cleaning. (rodents left some stuff behind) The flat bed has not been tested as we did not start the truck. Please feel free to ask questions and I will answer best I can. At the end of the day, this is just a cool old (pre-smog ) truck. It is not perfect and is definitely a large project for a full restore, or you could just use it as ranch truck.
