This is an ultra nice, super rare Rust Free Low Mile 638 Black Pearl Edition 280Z in superb original condition all around!! This original Black Pearl has been loved and meticulously maintained and it shows!! 1978 was the first year for a factory black Z car and the black pearl was a limited edition low production number car. This original black pearl Z car is completely unmolested retaining the majority of its original factory features and parts. It retains its unmodified matching numbers drivetrain with fresh service and tune. Z cars in this condition are extremely hard to find... black pearls, nearly impossible. I am a serious Z collector...This is absolutely an investment grade Z car... would be an awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or addition to any collection.
The body is absolutely rust free and lazer straight. Excellent quality re-paint in correct 638 Black Pearl Metallic presents beautifully with the most minor blemishes... proper Nissan 638 black pearl metallic was used and the finish is excellent. The car did come with the proper black pearl SAP red/silver stripes from the dealer... I prefer the cleaner all black look... stripe kits are available. Frame, floors, and chassis are super solid. Doors close tight and windows work nice. Retains its factory steel wheels and hub caps with fresh tires. Get's tons of looks and compliments everywhere we roll.
The interior is excellent as well... panels, carpet, and trim all look great. Drivers seat has some tears under the cover and should be redone... I have the replacement seat covers but have hesitated because as they say it's only original once!! I was going to replace with another set of seats and keep the originals as is. I assume dash is cracked under the full face molded cover. Gauges, lights, and electronics all work properly including the CLOCK!! AC Blows cold!! Unused jack and spare... etc etc. Modern stereo added and I have an original radio for it.

Original L28 motor starts idles and runs fantastic. The car has full compression and great power... 5-speed Trans shifts smooth and strong through the gears!! Suspension feels tight and provides excellent ride and brakes stop straight and sure. Strong, powerful, and reliable... freshly serviced and tuned... ready to roll.... definite daily driver capable.

Overall this is a really rare Classic Z in excellent condition all around. I am a Z collector. This one makes a great investment and/or Awesome Weekend Cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage sports car at a great price.
