1971 Datsun Z-Series

Welcome, you are bidding on a great surviving 1971 Series 1 Datsun 240z. Car has 82,412 original miles. Purhased new by a famly friend in 1970 after being on a 6 month waitng list. Car was driven from 1971 to 1980 where it was garaged for 30 years until the owner passed away. Owners son inherited the car and got it running again but only put a couple hundred miles on the car. Car was recently passed on to me with loads of service records and paperwork dating all the way back from purchase.
Car currently runs and drives great and is registered and insured in California with current pinkslip. Car could use a thorough cleaning and driving to improve condition. Ultimately would be a great candidate for full restoration or just drive as is. Car is very rust free, just some in the battery tray area. Car will need all new carpetting and the seat cushions need to be replaced.
Car still retains original radio and dashboard with no cracks. Oil pressure gauge not working, pretty much everything else is. All lights and signals work and are not cracked. Car will need tires. Still has original spare. Heater core has been bypassed.
Car still has original paint and license plates and frames. Car had minor damage to the front left quarter panel that was repaired years ago before being garaged.
