Up for Auction is a 1974Chrysler New Yorker Brougham that was owned by the same lady owner since new. Still remaining its original blue & yellow CA plates, it was purchased & always resided in the southernCalifornia area. Recent years she had passed away & it wasuncovered in her garage where it was handed down to her niece & her husband. Her niece had mentioned some great stories about her aunt & her New Yorker including on Christmas gatherings they would see her pull up with her big blue Chrysler with a trunk loaded with presents to pass out

Still has it's factory 440 V-8 engine / Automatic TourqeFlitetransmission. When the niece & husbandgot a hold of the Chrysler, ithadn't been on theroad nor driven much from over recent years. They got it running through a mechanic shop in 2021 including having the gas tank removed & cleaned, gas lines cleaned,rebuilt alternator, install left & right new brake hoses, new battery, new oil change & fuel filter. Driving it just a bit around town it feels to run good, engine sounding fine &dosen't smoke. There still some things to be done if attending to drive it more - It's cold blooded when attempting to start it (needing to pump the gas & crank it a bit before she starts, but once warmed up after a min or so runs good) a carburetor rebuilt would help with thecold start -A tune up / spark plugs & wire'sis over due & ect.. Few thingsI noticed that aren't working our the front two power windows & gas gauge. My selfI have not driven theChrysler much then 10miles or so, I'm sure if you really startdriving it, digging in & looking there will be issues that need attention mechanically acar of itsage

Decoded as a factory paint code : Powder Blue / Med Blue interior / Blue vinyl top with factory side skirts. Chrysler has seen better days as paint / interior is old & is showing its age. Its never gone thru arestoration & body on this Chrysler in good shape for its age, having good solid bones including solid floors / undercarriage. The original vinyl top is starting to tear on top & under thevinyl is solid with the exception of a couple of minor small spots of rust near the rear bottom corners of the top, but besides that the rest of the body appearing to be good with mostly just surface rust. Original interior is showing its age with rips & tears in the seats & middle of the headliner. Chrome looks goodfor its age.Great project that is ready to be restored or with some work & TLC could be driven with some patina - Clean CA title in hand
