1968 Chrysler Newport 2-DOOR HT
The Old Oregon Motor Company presents:
1968 Chrysler Newport 2-door Hardtop. Maroon/Black. 81K original miles. The original owner passed away about five years ago and left the car to his friend. That second owner repainted the car and installed new upholstery front and rear. He also rebuilt the transmission and the differential. Original 383cid motor. New tires. It has some issues...the most notable being a sagging headliner in the rear and some rust at the base of the rear window. The drivers power window does not work. Equipped with optional air conditioning, but the system needs to be restored and has some missing parts. Otherwise, the car starts, runs, drives, and stops just as it is supposed to: quite well.
