1959 Chevrolet Impala

1959 Chevy Belair complete frame off pro touring car. There are approx. 40 big pictures to view so please allow them to load it will be worth the wait. It’s been in a dry California climate its whole life until I bought it. A three year total frame off restoration was done. It was completely taken apart and stripped to the bare metal top and bottom. It was unreal there was no rust anywhere. I have restored quite a few cars and this is the cleanest car with no rust I have ever started with. The car is painted a show quality black paint and this car is as straight as they come. It takes a lot of guts to paint a big car black and this one is outstanding. All the trim on the front and rear was chrome plated and it really pops against the black paint. The engine compartment and the LS1 motor is detailed to the 10’s The transmission is a factory T56 overdrive manual 6 speed with a hydraulic clutch and it shifts like a new car. The rear end is equipped with 410 gears and the car runs down the freeway at 70MPH at about 1800 RPMS. The suspension is all redone with 4 wheel controlled Air Ride by Air Ride Technologies. The Arms are the big Strong A-Arms front and rear and the sway bars are the big heavy duty type please look at all the pictures listed. The car was all Dayna Matted and the underside was completely sprayed with a substance called Lizard Skin again look at the pictures. This car is so quite with all the insulation when you drive it it’s like a new car. The interior and trunk is all custom with a beautiful leather like interior and has all the creature comforts you can ask for Air cond chrome tilt column new VDO gauges DVD screen /CD/ AM/FM with a concert sounding sound system. The trunk has a amp and sub-woofer and really sounds great. The carpet is the real tight Daytona weave and looks great. The tires and wheels are 22’’ and 20’’Billet Specialties and the 4 wheel Corvette disc brakes with the drilled and slotted rotors not only stop the car on a dime they look great to. I’m really not sure I want to sell this car because I know I won’t find another 59 like it. This car is a Good Guys winner at the Columbus Ohio show it received the Maguire’s Magnificent Award. I also have an Appraisal from a very credible source The International Vehicle Appraisers and the man’s name is Jason Hephner The car appraised at $169000 and is insured for that amount. I’m certainly not asking that but I want you to know the quality of the car. I might consider a trade but it would have to be something that is as nice.
