Our engineers grafted the bottom end of the legendary ZZ4 with the horsepower-building Fast Burn cylinder heads to create the Fast Burn 385. The result is 385 horsepower and a satisfying 385 lb-ft of torque — with no less than 300 lb-ft from 1500 rpm to 5700 rpm. The foundation is a sturdy iron block with four-bolt mains, forged steel crankshaft, n aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft, nd durable high-silicon pistons. As a Turn-Key crate engine, t comes with the distributor, arburetor, nd balancer installed — along with a starter, uel pump, ir conditioning pump, lternator, ront-end accessory drive kit, nd more — all in one convenient, ll-inclusive package!

The lightweight, ortec-style Fast Burn aluminum heads have large, 10-cc intake runners and 2.00-inch/1.55-inch valves. Their 62-cc combustion chambers are uniquely shaped to promote quicker, ore complete combustion. If you want to finish off the engine yourself, ry the Fast Burn 385 Base engine (P/N 12496769) at a lower price. It includes only the intake manifold, istributor, ater pump, amper, nd flexplate.
