You are bidding on a very special truck. This is a 1972 c10 with the rare “highlander” c package. This was a half year 1972 only option. There were 3 classes of the highlander A,B and C. C being the highest option of the 3. Original factory 350 with a qjet 4 bbl/ turbo 350. This truck is loaded out with factory AC, tilt, special molding and the classic Scottish plaid interior. This truck is completely original, 1 family owned and having only 71k actual miles.had sat since 1983 we recently went through the truck mechanically from front to back. All fluids changed, new gaskets/seals. New brakes/shocks/tires. All lights work, brake/turn/headlights. LED side marker lights were added for better visibility. New wipers installed. Still wears its original paint and aside from new carpet and dashboard still has its original interior. The original paint was smoothed down and a poly clear coat was applied to bring a nice shine back. Rockers were replaced all other superficial blemishes were left for originality sake. Very rare truck. Built to attend cruising the coast 2023 and successfully drove there with no problems the 500 mile round trip. Gets tons of attention. Drives and rides wonderfully. No smoke/noises. Can drive anywhere. Ac all there but needs charging. As we didn’t have time before we left. Bed floor mostly solid aside from where the original owner had a bag of fertilizer create a hole.
