This is a real and documented LS5 car, originally out of California. I am offering up this important piece of Chevrolet history, this is one of only 519 LS5 ElCaminos produced in 1970. This will no doubt make an outstanding investment car and a great restoration candidate. The original motor and transmission is missing from the car. It was also ordered with power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, 3:31 posi-trac rear. Original color is misty turquoise (example shown in one of the photos) with black bench seat interior.

It has some of the characteristic rust issues around the back-glass, windshield area, behind the seat and some spots on the floor. The FRAME IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION with no sign of damage or rot. The front inner fenders are nice and have no rust through. There’s a very nice replacement driver’s side fender that goes with it as well as new door panels. Doors are solid. drivers quarter panel is solid. Tailgate is solid. Passenger quarter has a couple rust spots done low to the rear of the wheel. Wheelhouses look good. passenger side fender and hood look good. Additional photos available on request for serious buyers.
