Description:

1969 Chevrolet Impala

1969 Original Paint with great patina Chevy Impala Kingswood. Was in a garage in Montana for 30 years.
Here's the story of how I got the car. Bought it from a Car Restoration Mechanic (Leno bought a restored Ford GT40 from him)who was retiring and getting rid of his cars. He went to Montana to see another car that turned out to be misrepresented, he was in a bar waiting to go back home, ran into a guy at the bar, went and looked at the car the next day, bought it, and drove it back to Colorado. He couldn't decide whether to restore this car or leave it original so it sat in his garage for years and was driven occasionally. I did some work at the guy's house, saw the car and was stunned how cool it looked. So I bought it, that was about 4-5 years ago. Never had a problem with the car, and it's only been worked on by a classic car mechanic who is also an engine builder and well known around Bandimere Speedway that hosts the Mile High Nationals for his great engines. He's honest as the rain and his shop has been the only mechanics to touch this car..
On to the Car........
Almost all Original everything, including engine, and everything works. Interior almost perfect, except the missing end of a window handle. Few body rust spots. True 9 passenger wagon from the factory with heavy-duty transmission and suspension and seat belts. No rips or tears in seats, the drivers side front has been repaired to match, it's close but not perfect. Headliner almost perfect. All seat belts work. Original radio. Wheels are not original but close, larger tires in the rear. A few scraps and minor dents/crease in body, it's not perfect, been touched up a bit on the lower part and where the scrap is in the rear. All in all a very Solid car, undercarriage is amazing for it's age.
Low Miles 69,000 ish miles. Runs great, 90+ mph on highway no problem. Original 350 engine with 300 HP. Classic car only to increase in value as these wagons keep going up. Could use new cork manifold gaskets that's about it.
Aftermarket Vintage air A/C installed last year, blows super cold and clean install. Newer Magna Flow exhaust, not loud but sounds great. New springs and suspension. Professionally maintained by a classic car auto mechanic shop.
Rear-facing seats and rear window works at all 3 locations (Dash, rear panel, key), the rear door opens 2 ways.
Special Unique Car, Drive a car that no one else has. Own a piece of American History. Drives wonderful, you'll float down the road in this baby! I get tons of looks and thumbs up when I drive it. Will come with 2 keys, one looks like the original.
Don't need to sell, been working, just don't drive it much. I'd drive this car cross country without thinking about it. The engine runs so quiet and smooth it's amazing for a car of this age even mechanics and "car guys" are amazed how smooth the engine runs. Auto choke kicks in until the engine is warm or you tap the accelerator.
I tried to explain everything good and bad with this car. I've made a bad purchase on Ebay with a car before and the guy didn't disclose hardly any of the extensive problems. I don't want this to happen to someone buying this car. But remember this is a 50+ year old car and it's not been restored. Reserve is 10.5 Wagons are only going up in price, and with future economic uncertainty, this car's value will not only hold but increase.

Happy to post any additional photos, I got 2 left, just let me know.
