On behalf of one of our clients, we're privileged to have the opportunity to consign this vehicle. Chevy’s first gen Chevelle Convertible is one of the all-time Classics of the 60’s. This Pro Touring version of this classic is a no-expense example that has you game-ready to carve the canyons or kick butt at your local auto-cross. At a distance it might be easily viewed as a basic restomod with an incredibly high quality 2 stage paint system in everyone’s favorite Chevrolet color “Marina Blue”. The paint, chrome and bright work are flawless. Those Billet Specialties aluminum wheels are a perfect compliment to the lines of the Chevelle. As you approach you begin to notice the lowered stance, so you know the suspension has been addressed so obviously she is more serious than that. Pop the hood and that’s when you notice this is one serious street machine as you are caught off-guard by that 540 Merlin motor.

Engine and Trans: The Fast fuel injected 540 Merlin motor is easily cranking out 600 plus HP (not dynod) and comes equipped with a Fast 2.0 management system that was just tuned and reprogrammed for optimal performance. With power disk Wilwood brakes on all four corners don’t worry about bringing this beast to a quick stop. The B&M shifter means business and is connected to an R700 trans so feel free to grab any gear you dare if you don’t want to leave her in automatic. Don’t worry about the drivetrain being fragile as you will find an oversized driveshaft that can handle all that torque and its hooked up to a 12 bolt rear end. Take this bad boy out for a cruise with the top down and enjoy the throaty note from the new mandrel bent 3” stainless steel exhaust system and everyone will know that your beauty is not to be trifled with.

Interior: You look at the perfect black interior and you also see the theme continues here, beauty meets beast. You might need the Corbeau seats and 5 point harness system to keep you in place as you push the limits of this canyon carver. The tastefully done Carbon Fibre Ultra-Lite gauges are provided by Auto Meter and the Chevelle logo on the dash has been anodized to match the paint system. Oh sure, there is a back seat for those that want a thrill of their lives.

Stereo: To appreciate that incredible Alpine IVA-W505 stereo system mounted in the custom console you need to crank it up and wake the neighbors. With that huge trunk mounted Tru Technology amp pushing all that power power you will need speakers to match. The Focal speakers and tweeters in the interior don’t disappoint and easily handle the power coming out of the powerful amp but I am not sure they will totally drown out that amazing engine.

Suspension: When it comes to the suspension the no-expense, all-business build continues. With Heidts and Hotchkis suspension goodies this beauty can handle the power coming from that Merlin motor. Up front Heidt tubular upper and lower control arms are coupled with adjustable coil overs. Out back is a 4-link setup from Hotchkis with a beefy sway bar. Fast Fuel goodies including filters, pumps and braided lines snake throughout the frame as one might expect.
