Description:

1966 Chevrolet Impala Convertible

This 1966 Convertible Impala is gorgeous. Automatic, fresh Factory Chevy motor ( 2200 miles on it)86K on the car.
The badging indicates 396, and Super Sport but it is a V8 454 4 bbl dual exhaust. A VIN search in a website does not indicate Super Sport.Excellent Shape, Nice Rumble. The Torque of the 454 makes this monster quick and nimble for a large car, with a smooth floating ride.
This is the Classic Impala.
From a note we found in the glovebox, we believe it was once a Mecum Auction car, Condition is excellent Driver with a restoration at some point, approx. 6 years ago, restoration date unknown. A few nicks and minor scratches in the paint do not detract from its close up beauty. (see photos which are the most evident items on note).
She drives like a dream, well maintained by a local shop, nice tires, wheels. Garage Kept. The interior is great shape overall, except the driver seat which has a couple of torn spots. This Body and interior is a classic design.

On Feb-06-20 at 12:06:55 PST, seller added the following information:NOTE: We have checked the VIN number on a website, thanks to an interested party, and according to the website, it is not coming up as a factory SS. The car had the SS badging inside and out when we purchased.it is unverified SS badging. To be fair, we ended the first listing to give everybody a fresh start on this awesome car.
