If you're familiar with the show circuit back in the 50's, there was a special 54 Belair that was chopped and named the Moonglow. Google it for information. This is a rendition of that car which was done in the early 90's and dubbed the Afterglow. This car toured the show scene and then fell away for years, until now.This is a full custom chopped Belair. The body - Chopped top, peaked hood, French head lights, rounded hood corners, hood has two vented pockets on top. 55 lower front valance with front 55 bumper flipped. Rear was sectioned across the speaker tray over the top of rear fenders down below the trunk. Has a modified 55 tail section and lights with 55 bumper flipped with a power french antenna. Doors are shaved as well as trunk. Driver door has toe popper built into the laker pipe.Inside has 64 Thunderbird front seats, hidden trunk release and passenger door popper. Interior is blue and white pleated, all side windows are glass and roll up and down, front and back. Windshield and rear window are glass. Wing windows look real but are in a fixed position.Motor is a 69 Camaro 305 with a 350 automatic trans and a Camaro rear which is posi. 3:55 ford rack front disc brakes, drum rear. Stops true and straight.
I have every part number and receipts for every part I have replaced on this car since my ownership. Most of which is on it's first season 2019.
New:Carb electronic choke and H.E.I ignition, Pete Jackson gear drive.water pump, thermostat, aluminum radiator, and electric fan on switch.Fuel lines and gas tankStarter / BatteryExhaustFinned valve covers and air cleaner. Brake booster.

New Suspension:
Ride Technologies pro x digital air suspension. This runs off your blue tooth phone, a lap top or i-pad, also has two programmed remotes and a 3 position switch that plugs in the lighter. ( No paddles or switch boards ) will lay rear down, pancake, front, or side to side. Lays frame and will raise just above stock ride height. Comfortable ride. ( SEE VIDEO ) Manual / diagram and spare remotes included.
Car is c notched and 4 linked. New Firestone air bags all 4 corners. See pictures- this air ride system was well thought out and installed to take zero space from trunk area.
While the suspension was going in, every inch was replaced as follows;NewUpper, lower Moog Ball jointsRide tech shocks front and rearFront disc brakes complete, mustang rackDrum rear complete and done with new drums, brakes, springs/adjusters, wheel cylinderssway bar links and bushingsTie rod ends.
Rolling on new radial tires and new chrome reverse rims with spider caps. I also have custom fender skirts stretched and lowered if you decide to run a different offset rim out back. See photo.
All wiring is upgraded with new fuse set up. Also fuse block in trunk behind side panel ready to use. ( my plan was to install electric trunk actuators.

This is a led sled hot rod. Not a race car, expect a hot rod driven and enjoyed with 90's paint, clear has mild patina no peeling, has been recently pinstripedVery subtle. This car wins at all local shows and always gets thumbs up ( NOT A SHOW CAR). Two new wiper motors installed, needs finished to switch source and wipers. E brake needs finished. Receipts available to new owner. Flake the roof or flame it, Maybe LS? possibilities are endless time for a new owner to take it to the next level.
