69 Biscayne big block,cant prove or disprov, [orig owne, still alive wont look for paperwork.] 427/425 car?? big block factory car ordered with 400 on the column,and 410 gear. was central office ordered car in hugger orange, paint code on firewall is just dashes...[see pic] replacement 512 short ls6 454 short block [a-10-70],was installed about a year after after purchase. car was street raced in 70 and 80,s. out of Staten island machine,car ordered 7/20/68 staten Island Chevrolet, delivered 1 year later,Staten island ny, built in tarry town n, rare transistorized ign, factory 3946074 alum heads,3933198 intake and 4396 carb and . no build sheet so i,m not saying as to it being real but all the parts there car restored in 2000-2003, very good condition for 20 yr old redo. [just went through all seals from sitting tran, brakes wheel cylinders .
,have over 200 real photos of restore,not high tech enough to get them on here all original floors and frames no rust repair looks to be all original welds on fenders,has hooker headers 3.5 full exhaust all done during restore sun tach on column, 180 miles on it since done 1/2 by me. very clean car underneath powder coated when redone in 2000-03 .more picts if neede, as i say cant prove or disprove as real .so im not saying it is. just has all the parts and history of such orig owner still alive but older and wont look for paperwork if he still has any .,,has lots of history in NY and Staten island , original plates and insurance card still on/in it.please read all look at picts ask questions have books of picks on restore/rebuild...looking at build date 05D last week of may and special ordered color may be the last one built as it took a year to get it in the special ordered [copo] hugger orange,auto on column bb Biscayne. as i said owner still live as same house but has not decided to take the time to look through all his stuff so i cannot prove or disprove the claim. we have some articles on them and their activity in the street racing scene from back then..please this is a 50 year old ca, starts right up, drives great runs great been 11.90,s with it[i live across street from track] runs on pump gas [timing back] very good fun car wherever i go i have to answer question, esp that it,s probably the only original factory hugger on range Biscayne made,lolread add ask question, ask for picts, as i said i cannot prove or disprove whats there,i do have extensive picts on car through it,s redo to back what has been told to me about car.i am the 3 rd owner of car. the last inspection sticker from 1992 is still on windshield before it was put in storage and than bought by previous owner in 99 and took 3 yrs to redo.i got it last year, but as you see by mileage i dont get to use it much with my health issues.. so it just sits.........thanks
