1956 Chevy 3100 Big Window hot rod truck
This is a beautiful, powerful truck with the best of everything: AC, PS, PB, power windows, shaved firewall, relocated tank, Foose wheels - and 450HP. There is more than $80k in this truck. It was a garaged Arizona truck I bought a year ago and shipped out to Seattle where itâ€™s been in a climate-controlled garage since. It has a super-strong 383 stroker Small Block Chevy crate motor with about 450 HP. It is fuel injected, roller rockered, and has a solid lifter cam that creates a loud, loping idle; it starts on the first crank and is super responsive. It has been fully modernized, with power steering, power brakes, a Camaro front clip and modern rear axle. Power windows class up the cab and Vintage Air AC and heat keeps it cool, which is important in this rare, big-window model. Its Turbo 350 automatic transmission shifts confidently and crisply and can handle the big power.
You can tell this is a hot rod when you first hear it; the side-exit 2.5â€ stainless exhaust is tamed only by a pair of Magnaflows that sit after long-tube Dougâ€™s headers with ceramic coat. The lopey idle and low stance let you know the truck means business even as you sit comfortably at lights. Big 20â€ Foose Nitro forged wheels in the back complement 18â€ Foose rims in the front, wrapped in Nitto rubber.
It has seat belts but I do not guarantee safety; this is a big window truck that has small b-pillars and wasn't designed for shoulder belts - or seat belts of any kind for that matter. It has three belts: two shoulder, one center, all auto retracting.
Paint is very clean and there are no major scratches or chips on the body. There are a couple scratches in the bed and a couple on the inside passenger door.
