Description:

1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Nice two owner

Up for sale is a two owner from new 1956 Chevy Bel Air, bought buy this owner in 1966 from the original owner,so he has ownedthe carfor 54 years. It has always beengaraged or under cover all its life andwell maintained by professionals. It has a rebuilt 283 engine, replaced in 1992. The original 265 engine brokeandthen the replacement 283 was installed. The engine hasabout 60K miles on it and runs strong. (starts easy, no smoke& runs smooth) It has the power glide automatic transmission that shifts as it should and the cardrives very nice. The body is straight but dose havesome minor rust on the headlight I brows and at the lower edge of the front fenders.(please look at pictures closely) A new paint job was applied in 1988 but is showing some aging. (looks good for a driver quality car)New re chromed bumpers, bumper guards, hoodornament, and chrome inside front windshield moldings were also redone in 1988.It has a few extras added by the owner. Top of front fender spears, dull mirrors, door handle guards, Stainless window visorsaboveeach door window, and aold under dash cassette player.(very dated) All lights, horn, heater and radio withits rear speaker knob on the dash work as they should but the speedometerhas just quiteworking. (has just a few more miles on it) It also is missing the turn knob on the clock and the temp lever on the heater is broken off. The interior was redone in 1988 with new seat upholstery andcarpeting, but it is showing some age on the front drives side seat back. All glass is good and it has had the windshield replaced. (looks new)The car is running its original hub caps and newer 215x75R 15"radial tires. There is some rustunder the mat in the trunk but only a little. Original jack, lug wrench andspare tire come with the car as dose a new in the box car cover. This Chevy Bel Airis a very good driver quality, ready to go. I'm listing this nice little Chevy for a friend and will take all questions to him. He has decided to sale the car as he just dose not drive it much any more. Again he has ownedthe carfor over 54 years.Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs, or drive it home.We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can.
