1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Historic Graf Super Stock Champion 1969 Camaro Convertible. This car left the factory in 69 as a Hugger Orange Camaro with a White convertible top. It was a 350 - 4 speed car. In 1972 Charlie Graf purchased the car and sent it to Ed Quay to build the ultimate Super Stock. The car was stiffened and tubbed. The 12 bolt rear was narrowed and floated. The body was sprayed White and Candy Red. The power came from a John Gulius small block and a powerglide trans. The car ran in the SS/KA class. It set and held an NHRA record in June of 1980 of the fastest time in it's class. It was the Columbus Super Stock National Champion in 1984. It was the Canadian Grand National Champion, andfeatured in National Dragster.

The Camaro raced tracks from Canada to Florida. Only coming out of NJ garages to race. The all metal bodyis in incredible condition. As is the rest of the car. It has had the same owner for nearly 20 years in upstate NY. Today, the car is powered by a built 356 small block backed by a turbo 350 trans. It still retains everything else from the glory days. The Camaro has all working gauges and lights. It is street legal. The interior has the stock black bucket seats but no rear seat. It has a custom SpinTech exhaust system. Between the look and the sound of the car it turns heads and starts conversations everywhere.
