Up for sale we have a 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car. This car is in great condition and offers the Matching numbers Engine and Trans. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of this Chevrolet, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of this '78. This was the 25th anniversary of the Corvette and was also the first time since '61 that they offered a two-tone paint option. With this being a factory Pace Car, it sports the Black and Silver Option that's accented by the Red Stripe and the Pace Car call outs on the door. Also, the pace cars featured the front and rear spoilers. The paint on this Chevy has been buffed to a beautiful shine. You'll also notice the body is in great condition and that all the gaps are even symmetrical. The T Tops are also in great condition along with the Fastback style rear glass. This being the 25th Anniversary you'll notice the Commemorative Emblems featured as well. To finish off the look it's sitting on the Alloy Wheels with the Goodyear White Letter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Pace Car. On the inside it's done in the Silver option which is the perfect complement to the exterior scheme. The first thing you'll notice is the sport seats which were scheduled for the '79 model and were offered in the Pace Cars. This Vette comes with Power Steering and Power Door Locks along with Factory AC. Looking at the dash it's all in great condition and the gauges are working as they should along with the console gauges. All of the carpet is in great condition in the front as well as the rear.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood it features the Matching Numbers L48 350 engine that's mated to the Matching Numbers 350 Turbo Transmission and the correct rear end with a 3.08 Gear. The engine bay looks like it would have when new in '78 with the painted valve covers and the stock breather. This car does offer Power Steering to go along with the Air Condition and Four-Wheel Power Disc Brakes. For exhaust it has manifolds with the stock style mufflers. When you look under it you can see that the floors and body are in excellent condition along. The frame also all appears to be rock solid and everything underneath it has been cleaned and detailed.
