Description:

1978 Chevrolet C-10

You already know how much we love these Chevy trucks, ut this 1978 Chevrolet C10 stepside takes it to an entirely new level. Relatively subtle on the outside, t packs a stout 350 underneath, s well as an all new interior and a low-riding look that is simply awesome on the street. You could have a lot of fun in this truck, hat's for sure!Where have all the stepside trucks gone? When they look this good, ou have to wonder why the OEMs stopped building them this way. Combining a 1987 front clip with a 4-wheel-drive cab and the stepside bed results in one of the best-looking trucks in a generation. The subtle yellow and white paint job is ideal for the truck, ooking custom without being too obvious about it and the soft pastels will help you stand out at any show you attend. The paint is a few years old, o it's not perfect anymore, ut it shines up nicely and you have to work pretty hard to find the flaws. Those fat rear fenders look like they were designed for 20-inch wheels it looks so right, nd the smooth tailgate gives it a custom look without giving up functionality. The bed itself is also refinished, ith the timber planks making up the floor of the bed showing some wonderful patina underneath a fresh coat of clear urethane so it'll last almost forever. Nice chrome bumpers help with the clean OEM look and it's still got the oversized truck mirrors to add a rugged counterpoint to the smooth styling. At first glance, he interior appears stock, hich gives this C10 a very polished look that's also functional and comfortable. But look closer and you'll see a lot of custom work, ncluding the seat itself and the neatly tailored carpets underfoot. And yes, hat's a Hurst T-handle shifter in the center, anaging a 4-speed manual gearbox underneath. Original gauges in a brushed metal dashboard blend well with the upgraded upholstery and the original steering wheel still looks great after all these years. Options like factory A/C and a tilt steering column make it easy to drive, lthough there's no radio but that means it's ready for the entertainment system of your choice. With a color change, ou know that almost everything inside is brand new, aking this a great place to hang out on weekends.A recent 350 cubic inch crate motor means this sleek little truck is a fantastic runner and as reliable as the day it was built. Fortified with a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, umming Racing intake manifold, nd an HEI ignition system, t's punchy around town and gives the truck the moves of a muscle car rather than a commercial vehicle. The engine bay was painted to match the body, o the black engine looks awesome, articularly with red lettering on the valve covers that matches the new red plug wires. Ceramic-coated long-tube headers and a new Flowmaster exhaust system offer a suitable V8 rumble and the lowered stance is just about ideal: not too low but definitely sleek. Thanks to the giant fenders, oth front and rear, t has no problem accommodating those giant 20-inch Torque Thrust wheels and 255/45/20 front and 275/40/20 rear performance radials. So don't take our word for it, heck out how many of these trucks we've sold. This one not only has fantastic good looks but the performance to back it up, aking it a great pick for summer fun. Call today!
