True barn find original survivor. 1939 Chevy 2 door sedan and I think its a Master DeLuxe but not positive. Absolutely solid car with original floors that are in excellent condition. The lacquer paint is cracking and falling off the body but what you see underneath is solid original sheetmetal. My father in law who owns the car sanded a portion down on the quarter panel which appeared high and found a small amount of bondo that was there to repair a very small area but that seems to be the only spot. When I say that this car is solid, that is no exaggeration. The interior is in very good shape. Seats and headliner are nice. Carpet could be replaced. The original engine purrs like a kitten. Starts right up. Transmission shifts well and he clutch is smooth. Tires and brakes are also in good condition. Like most old cars the steering is a bit lose however, the car can be driven as is. Included with the car is a trunk full of replacement parts, starter, generator, brake parts, ignition parts, etc. Could be a very simple restoration or just drive it like it is.
