1962 Chevrolet Corvair

Here's a classic that you won't find everywhere. It's a 1962 Corvair Panel Van.
My 91 year old father is a Corvair collector and he purchased this Van 25+ years ago with the idea of restoring it. Well, obviously that never happened so it's time for it to go to someone that will do something with it. It doesn't run and hasn't since he bought it so we have no way to know the condition of the drivetrain. He was told it came from California but we have no way of verifying that. The body is in relatively good condition considering its age. You can see in the pictures that it was used by someone with a carpet business. It has great "patina" which is so sought after these days.
Restore it or make a Rat Rod out of it.Let your imagination run wild!!Get it running just the way it is, throw on some rally wheels, put a couple surf boards on top and I'm pretty sure you won't see another one at your local car show.(Personally, I think this thing would be cool with an LS engine mounted mid-ship.)
We have a clear Michigan title for it. Again, it does not run so you will need to bring a trailer and a winch to load it. (The trailer it is sitting on in the pictures is NOT included.) The tires will hold air long enough to get it loaded.
