1950 Chevrolet Other Pickups

As mentioned above, this was purchased here on eBay as a totally restored pickup - shame on me for not having it locally inspected. It was restored back to original (prior to my purchase) with many restoration parts, its just that the body was never properly prepped. The pics were strategically taken to not show ripples, bad spots and the like. (please see the above comments).
Anyway, this is being offered as a project - Rat Rod - Restoration, or for Parts. We drove it for a few hundred miles while trying to decide on its future.Everything worked - however the carb was rebuilt by someone and they didn't (apparently) know where some of the parts went during the rebuild and trashed them. I tried to save the carb - but it was too far gone - so it was replaced with a new one.
It will still run if the electrical and battery are re-installed. The engine was declared to be a 230 by the original seller, the trans and rear are all originals. It is a three in the tree shifter. The wheels, tires, hubcaps, lights, electrical, gages, grill, bumpers are all original and had either been replaced or rebuilt. The fuel tank is new also. The seat had been reupholstered and it has carpet.
It apparently was a frame off restoration, as the frame is clean and has been painted. The truck is equipped with a power steering box and system. The oak boards (bed) are damaged and not included.
Pictures show the current condition (disassembled) and also show when it was purchased - prior to disassembly. There is a dent by the right hand fender - in the headlight area. There is a picture showing the detail.
The Cummins (that is a part of this sale) is a 12 valve 6B. It was out of a Blue Bird Bus and I heard it run and selected it after checking over several buses. Mileage is unknown. The Allison transmission is married to it and the assembly is complete with all electrical, coolers, radiator and everything to run.
I will be glad to answer any and all questions.
Make sure you check it out carefully, this is "as is", and as you see it.
