1967 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

1967 Camaro pro touring convertible. This is a car that is a joy to drive. Handles like it's on rails, fast, a lot of fun. It is pretty much new under the sheetmetal but I like the patina look on top so I'm not afraid to drive it, which I do all the time.
Drivetrain: Engine is a NEW(not rebuilt) GM crate engine rated at 350 HP. Starts up with the flick of the ignition and idles at 800 rpm. Transmission is a tremec 5 speed with a hydraulic clutch that shifts smooth at stilk. Driveshaft is new along with a Magnaflow complete exhaust system. I would not be afraid to drive this car from New York to LA. I've only said that about one other vintage car I've owned. This car is dialed in. Also has electric cooling fans, aluminum radiator and a Vintage Air front runner system with Vintage Air. Power steering box is a new one with rack in pinion innerds and is super tight and a blast to drive. Wheels are 17" American Racing with BF Goodrich tires.
Body: As stated, there is no rust underneath the sheetmetal on this car. All the sheetmetal appears to be original to the car and 50 years old. If you decide to paint it, the quarters will need attention around the wheelwells but the rest looks pretty solid. Doors are super clean inside and look to have no previous accident damage. I'm sure there will be little things here and there but for the most part the car is solid. The paint on the car is at least 25 years old, maybe older but it's all one color and still looks good from 10 feet. If you want a perfectly painted car look for another 67 convertible that is about 10k more expensive than this one and won't drive nearly as nice. Top looks really nice and has no rips or tears. Power top motor, lines and rams have all been replaced by me and the top functions flawlessly.
Interior: Interior is in nice shape. New carpet with dynamat on the floors, trunk floor, firewall, upper cowl and rear seat area. All gauges, lights, turnsignals, work. DC gauge does not work on the console gauges. Clock is new and works great. Windows roll up and down nicely and doors shut solid. I believe the console gauges are original to the car as all the dates on them are 3 weeks before the car was produced. Wiring harness has no cuts in it and is original to the car. If someone installed them they did a great job.
Basically this is a car you can get in and drive the wheels off of. Needs nothing mechanically. Still has things to tinker with and upgrade if you wish. I have receipts for everything I've done to the car and it totals a lot more than the reserve.
Also included but not installed are the following at no additional cost:Complete 4 wheels disc brake setup($1600)Hotchkis rear sway bar kit, rear drop springs and shakles ($1500)Original 4 speed(with vin still stamped on housing), in perfect working order and everything needed to put it back to stock(bellhousing, clutch, flywheel, z bar, everything else you need.Original steering wheel and radio.
Thanks for looking,
