1982 C10 Silverado Deluxe Long Bed- with COLD AC
This is a very solid local southern truck. It drives smooth, handles well and has good power. This truck is ready to roll and a great square body. This grill was only made the one year. All the old smog stuff has been removed and I did not use the ESC unit that was suppose to save gas with ignition modulation. This truck is more muscle now.
InteriorIt features new door panels, new dash, new carpet, retro radio, new speakers front and rear, recovered soft touch vinyl seat. Air conditioning that blows nice and cold, power windows, power door locks, floor liners. All the gauges work except the temp- The gauge is new but I think it needs a different sender than the one I had. All the lights and signals work the way they should. Heater works and interior lights work.
MechanicalThis truck's original 305 was replaced last year with a new GM 350 Crate Motor that has about 3000 miles on it. Everything was replace with new during the install. High Torque Starter, MSD Ignition, Edelbrock intake and carb, full length headers, 8MM wires, Power steering pump, alternator, compressor, holley fuel pump. The transmission was rebuilt locally and is the great 700R4 and a new kickdown cable. New 3" exhaust with MagnaFlow Exhaust. Sounds great.
BrakesLast year the front pads calipers and rotors were replaced. The rears still had some good material on them.
ExteriorThe truck is super sold with only one spot shown in the photos and it is surface. The paint is mostly original and fading. A new paint job is mostly what this truck needs. The bed does not look like it was every used. When I bought it, there was an aluminum camper top on it so that is probably why the bed is so nice. I added the folding cover.
WheelsNew wheels and tires and lugs last year that really set the truck off. These are the Riddler Brand. I also have the original set of rims and tires that are complete and in good shape that will go with the truck.
