1978 Chevrolet Camaro Type LT

I purchased this car out of a storage garage. It had been in storage for many years. Bought it as a father and son project, my son is always talking about Hot Rod Garage show and how easy it is to work on the old cars, so this car was my opportunity to show him how it really is, and make sure he wanted to pursue a career in the restoration of old cars. Florida car, very clean frame and rear frame rails, the car is all original and everything was their. When we bought it of coarse we had our work cut out for us. Had not been ran in many years so here is a long list of new parts we installed to get it back on the road.1. New gas tank and sender.2. Fuel pump and filter( converted to electric low pressure pump).3. Professionally reman carburetor (exact brand and type of original)4. Full tun-up, everything- plugs, cap, rotor, wires.5. New water pump, 180 degree T-stat, new T-stat housing, new radiator(3 core equivalent.6. All new belts.7. New brake master cyl, rear brakes are like brand-new did clean and adjust.8. New cherry bomb muffler with turn down.( son's choice), factory catalytic converter still in place.9. Rebuilt instrument cluster with new wiring board and LED lighting.10. New headlight switch, ignition switch, neutral safety switch, horn and relay.11. Like new Sanyo cassette radio with owners manual, (ebay find, needed a period correct two knob stereo because the dash had not been cut).12. New 6x9 speakers in factory holes in rear, mounted as factory did under the package tray.13. New package tray.14. Transmission service and resealed.15. Oil and lube change.16. Rear diff checked and fluid topped off.17. All new bulbs all away around inside and out.18. Five new tires with a full size spare same color.19. New valve cover gasgets.I way have forgotten a few things. Drives like new, needs paint from sun fade on hood, roof, and deck lid. Hood has rust starting on the corners, hinges and latch works good. Everything works, but the ac is not cold. Doors shut and open like new, weather seals are in good shape. Seats are in good shape but the cloth on the seats are deteriorating from heat and age. I put a new seat covers on them, but they are not factory. Overall a good driving car I would drive anywhere.

Radiator support has rust on the passenger side at the very bottom where the radiator bushing sits, it's been reinforced with a metal bracket for additional support. The top of the support is in great shape.
