Before the next big increase in Chevrolet Nova price occurs as previous generations have done one might consider getting the jump before that happens. The last generations of Novas (1975 - 1979) are still reasonably priced unlike the previous generations but that is trending upward. Here is offered a very last year model of the now long gone rear wheel driven Nova. This Nova is a true survivor car. It was located in a storage facility where it had sit for 3 years. The old gasoline was drained out and system flushed and fresh gas put in. A new battery and starter was installed then started. The power steering gear box and high pressure hose were bad so those have been replaced as well. The entire drive train is all original. The car has 167,000 miles and appears to be without rebuild. For a Nova of its years and mileage it appears to be in fair to good condition. Of course this does not mean the car is free of defect. Although the car runs and shifts the transmission does slips and is in need of replacement. This is a high mileage car so would assume the drive train could stand some attention. ​ This car was originally from the dry state of California. It has been examined from front to rear and no rust other than surface to be found. ​ Interior is soiled but in fair condition. Seats not torn or ripped and has good headliner. Original door panels that are in fair to good condition for their age and some home repair on the "B" pillar around rear window. . Dark blue Paint is weak and is showing separation in areas. Has done its job protecting the underlying metal. Car was originally black Tires are fair. Has one of the original color keyed Rally Wheels as a spare. Car has been in stored inside since 2013. Has clean Texas title. Engine, Transmission, differential are all very original. Really an exceptionally original car that has not been altered. Air conditioner Compressor removed/Missing. Radio has been removed. Four way flasher knob is broken an flashers flash when ignition is turned on. Has unusual factory rear window defroster Naturally the top of dash has cracking.
