Description:

1972 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne

Relisted due to non-paying bidder. Second chance on a cool truck with an affordable reserve. You are bidding on a 1972 Chevy C10 with the Cheyenne package. It has a Chevy 350 out of a 1972 Camaro with approximately 40k original miles on it. The engine only has another 400 miles since it was put in the truck. The Camaro was all original and past owner changed it out for an LSA Resto mod. The motor has an Edelbrock Performer EPS aluminum intake, Holley Performer Carb 650 CFM with Moroso carb spacer, Accel wires and performance cap MSD 6A ignition and distributor. As you can see the engine also has a nice dress up kit on it. Hedman long tube headers with Flowmaster 40 Series dual exhaust no cats. The trans is a turbo 350 out of the same Camaro with B&M street strip shift kit. The rear is a posi 4.11. The truck runs great and sounds throaty. It gets compliments where ever you take it. The interior was redone and has a digital dash, Pioneer CD player radio with Sony door speakers, smaller custom steering wheel, LED interior light, new floor mats, seat cover door panels headliner, etc. The dash has a few old school magnets on it which can easily be removed. The brakes are new all around as well as the shocks. The truck has been lowered and rear frame with C notch kit. This was done properly. Factory leaf Springs in rear. The front has 2 inch drop spindles with new tie rods and ball joints. Both front and rear bumpers are new. The bed and tailgate have been bedlined. There is no rust on the truck the cab corners and rockers were replaced prior to me owning the truck and look very good. All of the glass is in good shape there are some scratches here or there but nothing crazy to be expected for a truck this age. The paint on the truck looks good from 20 feet. The only issue with this truck is there are small dings and defects around the truck mostly on the sides of the bed where proper body work wasn't done prior to paint. They are visible with some wave, small scrapes and paint touch ups. It's not an eyesore, but to me adds to the patina of an old truck. Very hard to see from pictures. We have taken on a father son project and have no room for this in the garage thus the reason to part ways with it. Our loss is your gain. I planned to sand down these areas and add patina to the truck to make it my shop truck. Of course you can fix these areas to perfection as well. It's a very cool truck that will continue to increase in value. A 72 Cheyenne short bed is what you want. The truck did come with air conditioning. It still has a everything under the dash connected and what's left in the engine compartment. It has an older set of Weld Racing wheels5 lugwith Viper tires up front 255/60/15 and Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R 28/12/15 nice and wide in the rear. We only drive the truck on nice days and to local car shows and has been garage kept. It always gets the attention it deserves. The truck isn't perfect as I've mentioned the body and paint imperfections, but runs awesome and needs very little to take it to the next step. These trucks are getting harder to find.
