Description:

1965 Chevrolet Corvette STD

You are looking at a nice running and driving restoration project where all the hard, dirty work is already done. Originally an L76 (365 hp) car. Now has NOM '67 327 C.I. block casting #389265 with the original '65 461 aluminum intake, 2818 carb and air cleaner. Non original 4 speed transmission. New flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate. Frame was sandblasted and painted, new fuel and brake lines, calipers, pads, u-joints, wheel bearings, shocks, springs, exhaust, and radiator. New Ecklers sound deadener and carpet. New door panels not installed. New Al Knock seat covers, seat foam, and burlap. Instrument cluster has not been restored but all gauges working except ammeter. Body has been chemically stripped and only a light coat of primer applied. It will need more primer and blocking before paint. Gaps in the doors, hood, deck lid, and headlight buckets are excellent (look closely at pictures). Original paint color is Silver Pearl with standard black trim. Trim and VIN tags in place. Hardtop only. There is no convertible frame. Parts missing: front bumper braces and antenna. Will need all new weather stripping. Car has not been on the road since the early 1980s. You could install the headlight motors and tail lights and drive as is. There is no warranty, sold as is. Clear Michigan title. Call with any questions 269 420 0585 John
