You will be bidding on an original, unmolested, unrestored, numbers matching vehiclewith only46,000 miles. This vehicle will soon be 60 years old, and therefore, it is not perfect.I am the second owner, and I have owned this '57 Chevy for 37 years. The red/black interior is all factory original.Also, the red/white lacquer has been polished thin in several spots, but it is 75% factory original (no total repaint). There weretwo rust spots at thelower corners, of both front fenders which were patched and painted with GM Lacquer in 2009. Also, in 2009, the 283ci V-8 engine and turbo-glide transmission along with all the engine accessories were professionally rebuilt. This vehicle is mechanically sound and ready to drive, showand enjoy. There are a lot of restored '57 Chevys (For Sale), but it is rare to find an original, low mileage, 2-door hardtop in this condition. Please look carefully at the pictures of the damaged areas on both doors, by the original ownersometime prior to my purchase in 1979.I reserve the right to end the auction early; as this vehicle is advertised locally.
