1970 CHEVY K10 TRUCK This is a new build that was finished March of this year. This truck started was tore down to the bare frame which was blasted and repainted chassis black. At that time it received axles with 3.42 gears both were rebuilt new bearings, seals, and brakes front are disc. Rancho shocks were installed all around. The engine trans and transfercase along with driveshafts were installed with all new mounts and u joints. The engine is a fresh built 1979 block withTbi 64ccheads the crank was polished rods were checked and reinstalled with arp fasteners.New pistons and rings were installed along with all new bearings the heads were rebuiltwith 3 angle valve job comp springs and retainers. the engine was finished off with a high volume oil pump a double roller timing chain and a comp rv cam. It has an aluminum intake and a 4bbl edelbrock electric choke carb, and new distributor. Headers were installed along with true dual exhaust ran all the way out the back with flowmaster super 40 mufflers. The transmission was gone thru and resealed its a SM-465 4 speed with a new heavy duty clutch and resurfaced flywheel. Thr transfercase is a geardrive unit that has been gone thru and resealed. Starter battery belts hoses water pump master cylinder washer resevoir everything under the hood is new. Now for the body the hood cowl panel cab and bed sides were taken to bare metal. the cab received new cab corners floor pans rocker panels. The doors all four fenders the radiator support both inner fendersand tailgate are new LMC pieces everything was primed and sealed then sprayed in Rhino liner but with a very mild texture the inside of the bed is heavy texture I would call the outside eggshell. The interior was painted white and the dash was sprayed maroon to match the seat. The bed had new oak, strips and hardware installed. the cab was finished off with a new dash paddynamat carpet door panelsheater core heater cables and controls the stereo was installed cd player custom kick panels and a sub and amp.The gauges and everything inside work asthey should. The glass was tinted with 20% tint and installed with all new weather stripping. The grill, grill shell all lights mirrors both bumpers are all new LMC parts. The entire wiring harness fromPainlesswas installed.All body mounts were replaced with new. The radiator was replaced with an aluminum piece with an electric fan with a thermostat switch It was finished off withMickey Thompson wheels and Kenda 33x12.50 15 tires. it has a receiver hitch with trailer brake controller and plug. This was build as a work truck that pulled a boat or camperseveral times this summer. Itmade many 3 to 400 mile trips and drives vary nice on the highway and interstate. That being said this is a very nice truck but not a show piece it does have a few small blemishesand a small place in the hood where the coating cracked but all in all very nice and something you could be proud to own.
