You are viewing a 1949 Chevy 3100 5 Window Pickup. This truck has had a complete frame off restoration. I believe this is one of the nicest 1949 5 window pickups in existence today. Below is the history of this fine truck. Please note: The graphics on the doors are high quality removable vinyl.

This truck was bought new in 1949 and driven daily for his business until 1984. This original owner passed away in 1984. His son in law purchased the truck from the estate. Truck was sold in 1994 and in 1999-2000the new owner now in his 70's accomplished a complete frame off restoration. He has restored many of these trucks in the past and personally knew the original owner. The cab and frame were completely stripped and sand blasted. It was then painted the Red paint that is still on the truck today. It is in perfect stunning show quality condition. The bed used was a factory new one with new wood installed. Brakes were upgraded to 1955 GM and new rings and bearings put in the motor. No machine work was needed. For the next 7 years the truck was only driven locally to shows. In 2007the present owner purchased the truck. It has been garage kept and has never even had water applied to it! Truck was featured in a Universal Studio’s New Years Day Parade and won Best in its Class at the Prestigious Winter Park Concours d Elegance show. This is a judged show. See photo of certificate.

Needless to say this truck is show quality throughout. It can be driven anywhere. You will not find a nicer 1949 5 Window pickup anywhere.
