1985 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Here yo go a 1985 Chevrolet Silverado short bed truck! This truck has only had 2 owners with just under 95000 miles. Truck looks great with its cranberry red paint painted to match wheels and painted hard bed cover. Paint was done back in 2010 and shows great as a daily driver. There is a small bubble coming up on the lower corner of the drivers door and small run on the passenger fender and unfortunately with the overall job the owners paid for neglected to paint the dash. The truck was originally gold. One weekend and a rattle can of black paint and the dash could be painted to complete the overall look. The bed was painted and looks like nothing has ever been hauled in it. New bed mat also conveys. Both front and rear bumper are original to the truck. The 305 SBCengineruns great and trans shifts smooth. Engine bay could be detailed to give it more of a show look but still retains its original jack with jacking instructions attached.Truckhas new Flowmaster dual exhaust installed 2 years ago and a newfueltank just recently installed. All lights power steering horn interior lights (dash and dome) vent controls etc work as they should. AC blows butisn'tcold. The new refridgerant has not been converted. The power windows work but the passenger side window was slow to open/close. The more I use it the better its getting. Aftermarket radio works great. Both door panels could use a paint dye to offset the red paint. Overall the interior is in good shape. Underside of the truck is solid both cab corners inner/outer rockers under bed panel etc is solid. Lower front fenders are also solid. Inside area of front wheel wells has a hole in it. Not sure why this wasn't addressed during the paint but has no effect on the inner fenders as they are solid. This is a great looking short bed truck! Runs drives and stops great and can be drivenanywhere. Lower it and put some custom wheels on it and you just doubled your investment. Trucks are real popular right now anddon'tseem to be slowing down. Pleasedon'tthinkI'mnit-picking this truck just want to be honest and up front. Have a lot of maintenance records to show the truck has been taken care of. Its a cool truck! Good Luck!Appreciate the questions already and will start posting them; the bubbles in the rear window is old window tint. It can beeasilyremoved with arazorblade. I've had a few questions as to if I can lower it which we can. But lowering kits vary in style and cost and can be discussed after truck is sold. Yes a 20x10" rear wheel will fit under the rear wheel well and believe a 22" wheel will also fit. If you can get your hands on some R12 freon I believe the AC can simply be charged. Anything can happen when driving long distance but confident you could fly in and drive this home. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
