I am selling my 1940 Cadillac 60 Special. I have had this car for many years and have done quite a bit of work to it.

It has new exhaust, electric fuel pump, new tires, new temperature sending unit, rebuilt generator and new voltage regulator.

The rocker panel trim is off in the pictures but I have them and they will go with the car. The brakes have been redone with new wheel cylinders and a rebuilt master cylinder. The battery is a gel battery.

The engine is good and runs so quiet that you will forget it is running. The 3 speed manual transmission is very good, shifts easily and smoothly. It has a new clutch and pressure plate.

The interior of the car is quite good with the exception of the area around the rear window which I had to take apart to get the window out. Everything is there so it will go back together easily.

The trunk is clean with a spare tire and original jack.

I have purchased several of the rubbers for it [windshield, rear window and some of the others] and they will go with the car.

All of the glass is good and it has outside rear view mirrors.

The rear window glass is there and has been tinted. Just waiting to go back in.

This is a car you can drive wherever you want to. It rides well, handles well, stops well, is fun to drive and has good power. I drive it around town and to the grocery store. Usually when people see it they want to talk about it.

Everything on the dash works with the exception of the radio and clock, and the under seat heaters also work.

I have done some new wiring under the hood and dash.

All of the extra parts I bought for this car are stored inside it and in the trunk. They are considerable.

This is really a pretty nice 1940 Cadillac and it is probably 95% original.

It has a current California license.

The car will need to be picked up in Vallejo, CA 94590
