1979 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Single Family Owned Only 41,400 Miles From New Original Cerulean Blue Firemist Paint Light Blue Pillow Leather S-Code 425ci V8 VIN: 6B69S99195965 We purchased this beautiful Fleetwood Brougham from a couple in the Chicago suburbs. The owner's uncle had purchased the car new, then when the time came to sell the car, he didn't have to look far. For the last twenty years, the car has served as this couple's lakefront cruiser, driven only a few hundred miles each summer. Exterior: - Please see... the video along with the listing, as the car is shown in detail. Blemishes are all shown close-up and in direct sunlight. Blemishes include some slightly mismatched coloring and cracking on the rear plastic filler pieces, as well as a few minor chips. Condition is consistent with a 41k mile car that has been babied. - Body is nice and straight, with no dents, dings, or body rust. There is no bubbling to be found on this car. Extremely dry and well kept. - Paint is original and excellent throughout. No panels have been resprayed, no touch-up. No fade, discoloring, or anything of the sort; this car has been garage-kept since new. - Top is in fantastic shape and shows no signs of age or wear. The dark blue color of the top, Crater Lake Blue, looks great against the Cerulean Blue Firemist paint. - Chrome is excellent throughout. No oxidation or damage. - Wheels are in great shape, with no curb rash or oxidation. Firestone Whitewall tires are in good shape, though we are not sure how old they are. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. Interior: - Interior is excellent throughout. Truly time-capsule-like. All powered systems are functional. This includes but is not limited to: original radio, air conditioning, fan/heat, defrost, all gauges, all interior and exterior lights, locks, seat adjusts, windows, and soft-close trunk. - Light Blue pillow leather seats are in great shape. No burst seams, tears, scuffs, or stains. Extremely soft and comfortable. Rear seats are like-new. - Headliner is tight and clean. - Original carpeting is in nice shape, as are the floormats. Really the only sign of wear or age inside the car is some very minor discoloring of the carpet in the driver's door sill area. - Dash is mint both on top and facing the driver. Wood doesn't show any aging or cracking. Under the Hood / Underbody: - S-code 425ci V8 is original to the car and is in excellent working order. Truly drives phenomenally well. No tendencies of any concern whatsoever. The car starts right up first turn, doesn't stutter or hesitate under acceleration, tracks straight down the road, and brakes very well. Wouldn't hesitate to fly in and drive home. - Car will come with the owners manual, accompanying booklets, and Cadillac 8 tracks. - Underbody is in great shape. Floors and frame rails are very nice. There is a thorough rust spot on the muffler, which does make a little bit of noise. It's by no means glaring, but the car is not dead silent like these cars often are.
