Selling my 1962 Buick Electra 225 Six Window Riviera Hardtop. Nice unrestored original car other than a repaint years ago in the original Willow Mist with a white top. It has a nice appearance and has held up very well. 69,000 miles. Outstanding original chrome and stainless. Bumpers are great too. Nothing missing. Nice original extra cost cloth interior with the pull down armrests. Has the period clear plastic seat covers front and rear. Nice dry undercarriage including frame and floors. Trunk floor is solid as well. Has the 445 Wildcat engine which as all good Buick fans know is a 401 cubic inch V8 with 325 horse power and a four barrel carb. It runs nice and quiet, no noises, no smoke. It is responsive and the four barrel carb works well. The automatic transmission shifts well and there are no issues. It drives nice and straight and brakes well. This car is factory loaded including power windows, power vent windows, 6 way power seat and power antenna. Also factory air conditioned, and signal seek Wonderbar radio, speed alert, remote mirror and more. All of this equipment works well except the power vents. Also gas gauge works, wipers, lights. A great car mechanically. The paint finish I would call nice driver quality. It is base clear and was done years ago. Upon close inspection you will see chips that have been touched up and a few blisters/ dimples here and there. The bottom edges are excellent. The original interior is very nice for 55 years old. No splits in the seats, nice clean carpets, door panels and dash. One crack on the dash pad all the way on the left. Headliner is original and has one small cut on the right rear. Glass all in good condition. Has four brand new 235x75x15 white wall tires. Has all four original Electra wheel covers. Under the hood is clean but not show detailed. Inside the trunk is solid and has been treated with Por 15 and spatter paint. Has the original jack and spare. This car is a driver. You can get in it and go. It is ready to enjoy now.The a/c compressor is original and has the yellow Buick ink stamp. The a/c would have to be serviced in order to blow cold. Just serviced with fresh oil change. I have a clean Mass. title in my name. It shows the right miles at 69,000. I got it from an estate in Connecticut. The car can be seen in Milford, Mass.
