We are selling the car as is condition. No warranties or guarantees in anyway. It is the buyers' responsibility to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding if he/she sees it fit. You can't look at the car fax history report because it's a classic over 45 years old! The motor runs excellent!

Buyer must make an immediate $1000 deposit through PayPal as soon as the auction closes to confirm the purchase, if the deposit is not made for any reason I reserve the right to sell it to the next bidder, any one backing out of the deal for any reason that is unacceptable by eBay policies will pay the deposit & loose it to cover my eBay fees. "We bought this car because it was a solid complete original unmolested 2 owners 1971 BMW 2800CSA, with plans to restore it to its original glory, & here is what was done to it It took us 4 years to complete this car restoration:

Car was stripped, & taken to a reputable body shop in San Bernardino County where dents & flaws were repaired, as was any superficial rust.

They block sanded the entire body, using as little filler as possible,

They primered with PPG 2K primer 4 times with block sanding in between each coat and then sealed & prepped with PPG products.

The shop is Environmentally friendly using Waterborne paint - PPG Envirobase and the paint is therefore state of the art, applied in an Germen made paint booth.

They sanded and polished the paint to finish.

I wanted the car to be as original as possible to retain its '70s character so anything that did not need to be replace was cleaned up/restored and put back;

All instruments, glass, lights, switches, wipers, heater & hazards, are original and working".

The car starts right up all the time every time. It sounds fantastic & is a absolute joy to drive.

Inspections encouraged. Many pictures are available from very beginning to the end of restoration upon request. All sales AS-IS. Sales tax & license are require in state of CA
