1962 Austin Healey 3000 BT7 Tri-carb

1962 Austin Healey 3000 MkII BT7 tri-carb with 46,050 miles. This car was purchased from its second owner to be used as a driver. It was discovered that there was rust in the sills and rockers.
The trunk floor, passenger toe board, passenger front outrigger, sills, rockers, and trunk floor have all been professionally replaced and repaired, so the car is now structurally rock solid and correct. All four fenders were dip stripped, repaired, and metal finished, no filler was used at all.
The car has not been completely put back together since the metal work, and will need some final assembly. Runs and drives very well. The paint was so/so, and the fenders were epoxy primed on both sides and a basic coat of paint was applied on the outside to match the rest of the car. The rest of the paint has blemishes and several amateur touch up areas from over the years, as can be seen in the pictures.
Both master cylinders have been replaced, has a new battery, brake hoses, ignition parts, new rear leaf springs, new stainless steel custom-fitted big bore Quicksilver exhaust system. The amount invested in the repairs and new components alone exceeds the value of the car, so do not miss this opportunity to own a truly solid tri-carb 3000. If you are looking for a car to use and enjoy and do light work to as you go, this is the one! An excellent opportunity to take advantage of a large investment already made into this Healey!
