1969 AMC Javelin SST

Offered here is a very cool, very rare BIG BAD BLUE (1 of 465 built) 1969 AMC Javelin SST with the original factory build sheet!!...Appears to be mostly original paint,...Original 72,xxx miles...Original High compression 290 4 barrel engine and Borg Warner T-10 4 speed transmission with Hurst shifter...VERY RARE GLENGARRY INTERIOR which is awesome!... This was bought new at Rosansky Motors in Perry, NY as a young mans prized possession and short period of time later (1980-1981??) was tucked away in inside storage for the better part of 3 or so decades from what i was told...Approx 4-5 years ago or so it was pulled out of its long slumber and was checked out and gone thru mechanically enough to get it back on the road...brakes and brake hoses were replaced, radiator checked and gone thru, fresh coolant, new hoses, new clamps and a new thermostat have all been replaced...a New Edelbrock carb was installed...the original distributor was sent out and gone thru by Advance Distributors...I have not driven this more than a couple times and just a few miles but it starts up, runs and drives nice...motor sounds great, clutch (believed to be original) works nice,...as with all 69 big bad cars it includes painted bumpers (1 year only), hooded overlay and a Hurst shifter...Super nice original 140mph/8000 tach gauge cluster and rare simulated exhaust rocker mldgs...great car to use as it is, attend some car cruises or if one desires to, it would be a great car to do a full restoration...big bad cars are quite rare and this is a nice one to start with...Please note the Magnum 500s shown in 1st 3 pictures are off one of my AMXs and are not included in sale...the Torq thrust wheels and tires as seen in other photos will be the ones that go with car...There is some rust in the qtrs and trunklid worth mentioning but the rockers, floors, trunk floor, subframes, inner quarters all look excellent...Comes with the original build sheet (super rare to find an AMC with one), a 69 Service manual, an original 1969 AMC ad for a similar MOD Javelin, a reprint 69 AMX/Javelin owners manual, a factory AMC Big Bad brochure and even an original bottle of original AMC touch up paint!...Truly an incredible find! Lack of storage space (recently purchased this as well as a few other AMCs this year and we are out of room) makes me offer this for sale...I'm happy to get any additional pics anyone needs and/or answer any and all questions...Offered for sale locally and sold in "as is, where is" condition. I have set a very reasonable and low reserve (less than what I paid for it). It has a clean NYS transferable registration. (Pre-1972 NYS title/ownership)...Local inspections welcome...I will assist any way i can with transporters/shippers...Full payment due within 7 days and before car is to be picked up. For additional $ (offered only once car has sold), I may be willing to sell a set of hood scoops and/or an original roof spoiler and/or a repop fiberglass or aluminum chin spoiler; I had originally planned to install on this car...Please ask any/all questions PRIOR to bidding.
