Description:

1944 Willys MB

Beautifully restored 1944 Willys MB.
-The engine runs wonderfully and the vehicle itself is in excellent condition. When properly maintained, he engine fires right up after about two seconds after two pumps on the gas. Seems to run within good temperature, dles well, nd just an overall strong engine with a lot of potential. I drive this around town about once a week, t drives great and is a huge head turner.
-This was a restoration that was done several years ago by the previous owner. He sank about $25,000 into the restoration and it definitely shows. The paint is in very good overall condition with some chips here and there. While it is supposed to be a combat vehicle, would say the paint is parade ready. Seats in excellent condition and virtually new. Body is original with some repairs here and there as well as some uneven surfaces, ut looks great overall in person. it is a very clean looking Jeep.
-The Jeep is predominantly original parts with repairs here and there, nd some reproduction parts thrown in the mix. The only major part I am aware of being a reproduction is the Windshield.
-The previous owner kept a log of parts he installed, his will be included with the Jeep. Additionally, put about $42,00 (recalculated from my previous amount of $3,400) in labor and parts fine tuning the engine, rakes, arb, and some other parts. I will also include the receipts/invoices this with the Jeep as well. The buyer will be able to see everything that this Jeep had installed in the past several years.
-All in all, his is a turn-key Jeep that does not require any sort of work to hit the streets at top speed.
An Issue:
In full disclosure, t likes to slip out of second gear when you decelerate. It has not been a huge issue for me, nd certainly not for my mechanic; as he drives it like the professional he is without issue. First and third gear are fine. It shifts easily and the transmission seems to be in fine shape. I have been told by multiple people this is "common," or "Normal," however I want to mention it to be safe.
Buyer is to arrange and pay for shipment to his or her location.
