The "Holy Grail" of Volvos, ere is a One Owner Volvo wagon Classic # 1256/1600 with a 5 speed manual transmission. Talk about rare? This beauty is very impressive in many ways including with its solid body and mechanical condition. This vehicle had the recent timing belt and water pump replaced. This classic wagon received aquality paint job in its original color a couple years ago and has held up beautifully. The interior has held up well including original head rest, he front seats show its wear and tear but nothing a nice sheepskin cover cant handle. Equipped with a nice dog barrier that flips up for easy access for your furry best friend. The floor carpeting has held up great, omes with two sets of Volvo floor mats. Original window sticker and all factory owner's manual. Tires are better than 80 %. The clutch shifts perfect through all gears. The odometer has stopped working approximately 4000 miles ago, ommon plastic gear in odometer cable broke, o sellingthis beautyTMU (true mileage unknown) The engine runs like a Swiss watch.Theplastic door pockets didn't survive on this one.I have been a long time fan of these classic Volvo wagons and I am still debating if I should keep this one for my private collection although lack of space continues to be an issue for me so realistically I should sell it. The under carriage is free of any serious rust meaning slight to no surface rust. I would not hesitate to drive this neat wagon anywhere!
