1985 VW Vanagon campmobile with a 2.1 L water cooled engine with 81,000 miles.

1985 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

Owned for 13 yrs. and a mechanically sound excellent running van. Water cooled engine and clutch replaced in 2007. It has a 2.1 liter with 95hp and standard transmission. The engine has 81,000 miles. The Odometer reads 222,000 for the van. The tachometer does not work. It gets 21mpg. The tires are extra ply for longer life and are like new.(ride smooth and better choice for the van weight) The exterior paint has numerous rock chips and touch up sprayed.( But still looks good) There is a dent in front drivers side panel by headlight.( cosmetic) . And small dents on sliding door and passenger side rear fender panel.(cosmetic). All glass and seals are in good condition. All windows are tinted. The pop up canvas is in good condition.(the canvas window has small holes in the screen when unzipped). All the camper features work great. (propane stove, ink, efrigerator). All accessories are wired to a separate deep cycle battery and charged by alternator. AC works but doesn't blow cold.(belt removed). Heater works in front.(missing plastic ends on heater levers). There is not a heater in the rear.(but could be added). All cushions, urtains and carpets are in good condition with no tears.(original). Has snap on bug screens for back hatch and sky light.(in great condition). Has snap on full front windows privacy curtain. (great condition). slider door panel has repaired tears. Back hatch has sprayed rhino lined panel. Newer ball joints, ushings, hocks, ack and pinion. Brake pads still have plenty of life. Rear custom made bumper with receiver hitch.
