1969 Volkswagen Campmobile

1969 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Campmobile

This is a 1969 Volkswagen Campmobile being sold at no reserve. It was used as a surfer van and it shows! Surfboards were carried on top and this Volkswagen spent a lot of time at the beach. The engine sounds and runs very well, he brakes are good and it shifts just like it should The configuration of the interior has changed from the original at one point as you can see in the pictures. It still has the sink/cooler unit, able fold down rear bench into a bed and various areas of storage. This Volkswagen has its original front cot. The seats are in good shape with a couple areas of wear on them. The springs are in good shape and driving this Volkswagen is very comfortable. The pop top goes up and down very easily, owever the tent has been removed due to a need for it to be replaced. the upper cot frame is there, ut will need a new canvas as well. The windshield is cracked on the passenger's side (from a surfboard). There is a crack in the passenger's side view mirror. The engine starts up very nicely and this campmobile shifts drives and stops very well. The heat does not work due to it being disconnected at this time and would need to be reconnected. All the underside heating metal appears to be there. The engine was replaced with a rebuilt one 20,000 miles ago.

I have many more receipts (totaling over $4000,00) and will include them with the sale as well as a Haynes manual. There are many more parts I will include with the sale. I have several rubber gaskets to go around the rear tail lights and several other places. The visors are included although they do no show in the pictures.
There is no title for this vehicle, itles are not issued for vehicles greater than 20 years old. This vehicle will come with the registration and a bill of sale which is enough in most states to get this Volkswagen registered. Although this Volkswagen is running very well, ue to it's age I will need to sell it with no warranty written or implied in an as-is condition.
