This Beetle was a daily used convertible till a couple of years ago when it was driven home and parked since. No it wont start. Engine cranks but doesnt run. Im sure a mechanic would have it running in no time. The buggy needs restoration, as the very least the floors must be changed they can not be salvaged due to rust. Lots of maintenanceand repairs such as Auto-Stick was rebuilt. This is a "Semi-Automatic"... for those that dont know, it means its a manual transmission with NO CLUTCH. Pretty Cool.
The SEATS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION! All the windows and mechanisms for them work nicely. I connected a new battery (not included) to try and start it and all the lights worked and all options turned on but I couldnt get it to run. Top goes up and down fine, but top material needs replacing. Still has the rear glass in good shape. Its got the upgraded alloy original rims. Tires are so-so. Over all the issue is getting the floor rust and reinforcements done. Once thats ready, give it a paint job and enjoy this classic beetle.
