Description:

1992 Volkswagen Corrado

For sale is my 1992 Volkswagen Corrado. If you're viewing this, chances are you know the rarity of these. This is the SLC "VR6" variant of the Corrado. It was purchased from a long time owner, who has had it since 1993!
- Only 117,999 miles, which might slightly go up.
- 5 Speed Manual
- VR6 Engine, which was replaced at some point during it's life due to a water-pump failure. Considering the previous owner had it since 1993, he couldn't remember the exact date so I will not quote one here.
- Leather interior is in great shape for the age.
- NON Smoking vehicle
- Period correct aftermarket American Racing Wheels
- Aftermarket CD Player, with rear JBL speakers
- Corrado floor mats in good shape
- Like new Hankook Ventus V2 Concept 2 Tires
- Aftermarket headlights to provide better night vision
- No check engine lights, or any other fault lights are on.
- Working sunroof, windows, and the rear factory spoiler that raises with speed!
This Corrado has been well serviced it's entire life, but still has a few flaws as a vehicle of this age would. Recently the thermostat was replaced, and now the heat isn't coming out extremely hot. The coolant will need to be bled better, which is a simple repair. The AC works, but will need to be recharged once per season, as it has a slight leak somewhere. This isn't a showroom mint example, if you're familiar with these you know the paint is a weak point, and this does have it's flaws. Scratches, few dents, and the front of the vehicle has rock chips. It has no rust that I can find, hatch is in great shape as is the underside. Photos are included of these areas. If you're looking for a car you can get in everyday, and not have to worry about getting a ding, or rock chip then this is perfect for you. I would have no hesitations hoping in and taking a long road trip with this.
